Update on The Chronic Rift Network

From March 24th to March 30th, 2014, here’s what happened in the week that was on The Chronic Rift Network.

March 24 – The Cinefantastique Spotlight: Divergent
The CFQ Online team of Steve Biodrowski, Lawrence French, and Dan Persons review the teen-oriented, dystopic science fiction action film based on the teen-oriented, dystopic science fiction YA novel accompanied by the wit and wisdom of guest Andrea Lipinski.

March 25 – Presenting the Transcription Feature: The Jack Benny Show/Dragnet
Kevin Lauderdale brings you old-time radio on new-era radio, this time focusing on crime mysteries as he explores “Murder at Romanoff’s” and “The 16 Jewel Thefts”.

March 25 – The Weekly Podioplex: March 25, 2014
I bring you updates from Hollywood and the box office as Divergent dominates, two classics (a tale and an actor) challenge, and Pee Wee speculates.

March 27 – The Chronic Rift Classic Rewatch: SF TV Shows That Flopped
Exploring the public access days of The Chronic Rift, this episode from September 3, 1990 takes a look at science fiction television shows that failed to attract audience attention in their initial run.

March 27 – Generations Geek: Ashes and Shadows and Monsters, Oh, My!
Science fiction writer Scott Pearson and his daughter talk with author Ilsa J. Bick about Star Trek, writing for the young adult market, and her books, including the Ashes trilogy.

March 28 – SciFi Diner Podcast: Ep. 199 – Our Interview with Alan Dean Foster
Scott Hertzog, Miles McLoughlin, and M. Sieiro Garcia spotlight author Alan Dean Foster. They also discuss the news in genre, including The 100, Gotham, The Last Ship, Falling Skies, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

March 28 – The G2V Podcast: Planet 19, 2nd Galaxy: Tales of Gloom – With Special Guest Keith Baker!
Scott Alan Woodward and Arnold T. Blumberg talk with Keith Baker about his career, his creations, and his critical hit on the hearts and minds of gamers everywhere.

March 29 – The Dan & Travis Show: Episode Zero-One-Niner – OMG!
Dan Lackaye and Travis Searle bring their comedy stylings to The Chronic Rift. This week, Dan relates his story of the paranormal to his home and the two discuss the latest episode of Cosmos.

March 30 – The Chronic Rift Roundtable: Housing Works Book Store and Cafe Panel – Media Tie-Ins
Keith DeCandido presents a panel discussion at Housing Works Book Store and Cafe this past February about Media Tie-Ins. He is joined by David Alan Mack, Ginjer Buchanan, and Cici James.

March 30 – The Cardboard Jungle: Bonus – New Mage in Town
Anthony Rocano sits down with Scott Morris (AKA Tox) to discuss his new role with Arcane Wonders as well as the future of Mage Wars, Crits Happen, and where Jimmy Hoffa is buried… okay, not so much the last one.

The end of the month also sees the return of some classic spotlight interviews to the feed.
